Stag parties are always enjoyable events for any groom-to-be as long as the organisation has been meticulous and precise. The planning of a stag event is key to ensure that the groom has the best time he possibly can. Traditionally, a stag party is organised by the groom’s brother or some other close relative, or the best man at the wedding or a group of the groom’s closest friends to make sure that the chosen activities will be to his liking.
Nowadays people seem to be moving away from the traditional stag party ideas having a night out drinking until you can drink no more and favouring stag weekends instead. Stag weekends are becoming more and more popular as they allow the participants to have a longer period of carefree relaxation. There are venues that you can hire that host events such as golf, tennis, basketball, go karting etc. for the daytime activities of the weekend.
Some other stag party ideas that would really stand out as memorable for the groom are arranging a BBQ by the riverside on a moonlit night with his best friends or you could simply organize a game of poker.
Some other stag party ideas involve inviting friends to outdoor events like camping, river rafting, gliding, climbing and hiking and adventure sports such as bungee jumping, snowboarding, skiing, skydiving, parasailing and many more depending on his interests and preferences.
Organising all of these events sounds like it could be nightmarish; however there are many venues around the country that will arrange the whole weekend’s daytime activities for you as well as providing you with food and a place to stay if you’ve come far from home, allowing you, the organiser to relax and have fun rather than worry about making sure everything runs smoothly.
