However, neither of my dogs (even my “chowhound”) is crazy about it. They eventually did eat it, but it took a lot of coaxing. After talking with my dog’s breeder, I discovered that the formula had been changed and that her dogs and many other breeders’ dogs had been having problems with the new formula. The “Canidae Team” didn’t mention the formula change when I asked them about the down-sizing. A friend of mine owns a pet supply store and he says he is getting about 50% of the Canidae bags back from owners w/ pets having problems w/ the new formula.
